Able Engineering' NDT Facilities are approved by our major customers and managed by Level II inspector. In particular they comprise of:

Ecco Bonding

Ecco-bond is an epoxy resin which exhibits excellent adhesive properties for continuous operation at temperature up to 200ºC and for intermittent use up to 250ºC and is suitable for bonding metals, carbons, ceramics and heat resistant plastics.

Sub Assembly Facility

Installation of Wire Thread Inserts.
Stainless Steel/Nimonic inserts used for strengthening and securing threaded components.
Installation of Lee Jets and Lee Plugs.
Precision components for the filtering of fuel.
Heat and freeze fitting.
Using a combination of manufacturing tolerances and the expansion and contraction properties of components under conditions of high and low temperatures to assemble and facilitate a strong joint.
Installation of Bearings.
Including press fitting and peening into assemblies.
General Assembly
Including press fitting, Loctiting, Torque tightening/testing.
